EXPERIENCE

Tim has represented many individuals facing serious criminal charges. He has extensive experience in matters before the Magistrates’, County and Supreme Courts, including the preparation of matters for Trial by jury and regular appearance work. Tim’s practice includes acting on behalf of clients charged with a wide spectrum of criminal offences, including major drug matters, fraud, theft, violence offences, sexual offences, driving offences, and the preparation of applications for Bail. He provides advice and representation to clients in quasi-criminal areas, such as Coronial Inquests, disciplinary proceedings and Asset Confiscation proceedings.

Tim also acts for individuals and companies involved in civil and commercial litigation in all jurisdictions, specifically in areas such as contract disputes, defamation, and tortious claims (excluding Workcover and TAC).

Tim is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria - Criminal Law, Litigation, and Young Lawyers Sections. Whilst at University, Tim won the Mallesons Stephen Jaques prize for Professional Practice in 2002.
