EXPERIENCE

Caroline joined Tony Hargreaves & Partners as Solicitor in mid-2021, after working at two busy firms specialising in Criminal Defence work, based in Melbourne CBD but often travelling to regional Victoria and other state jurisdictions.

Caroline has worked on both summary and indictable cases and appears as an advocate in Magistrate and County Court matters and instructs Counsel in the preparation of more complex matters for Committals and Trials in the County and Supreme Courts and for Appeals in the Court of Appeal and the High Court of Australia.

Caroline has a passion for ensuring just outcomes for her clients and understands that in order to achieve this, the best results demand the best preparation. Caroline is recognised for her attention to detail, business acumen and client driven approach with a demonstrated ability to convey complex and often sensitive advice to clients in a clear, compassionate and confidential manner, whilst ensuring each client understands every stage of the criminal process.

Caroline holds a Bachelor of Arts (History and Legal Studies) and a Bachelor of Laws Degrees from La Trobe University and has also studied International Law at Maastricht University in The Netherlands.

Following completion of her tertiary studies, Caroline obtained a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice at the Leo Cussen Centre for Law and was admitted as a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Victoria in December 2016.
